past few weeks have been great, with almost 12 hours of live tennis action daily starting from 8am beamed live from the sunny shores of melbourne.

school's just started, as usual i'm still in the honeymoon mood so not really into the reading studying printing of notes. fyp has pretty much been neglected too, but i know that i really have to get started again on my dissertation soon.

and now its already the lunar new year. well i'm not a big celebrator of such festivals, and anyway strangely this year i am even in less of a mood to celebrate. maybe its the age, the kaypoh extended family members, or maybe the superficiality of the whole exercise. i can hardly find any reason to celebrate this year.

but the reunion dinner was great last night; small cosy gatherings, that i like. food was good and company was great. for me that's probably the only meaningful part of lunar new year.
so there, after all that feasting its difficult not to have a good start to the new year, eh? i wish all of you a merry and prosperous happy 牛 year!

Well not quite, since this same suay MP was punched by a taxi driver three years ago, apparently for not doing enough to help the said taxi driver get his driving license un-revoked.

Haha who says that lightning (=P) does not strike twice at the same spot?

I wonder though, if this incident has got anything to do with this.

l'ignorance

Sur l'avenir, tout le monde se trompe. L'homme ne peut être sûr que du moment présent. Mais est-ce bien vrai? Peut-il vraiment le connaitre, le présent? Est-il capable de le juger? Bien sûr que non. Car comment celui qui ne connait pas l'avenir pourrait-il comprendre le sens du présent? Si nous ne savons pas vers quel avenir le présent nous mène, comment pourrions-nous dire que ce présent est bon ou mauvais, qu'il mérite notre adhésion, notre méfiance ou notre haine?
